CSIRO Visit
Recently, two scientists from the CSIRO came to visit Year 6. We learnt about the different types of renewable energy by completing a variety of experiments that involved wind, hydrogen, water and solar power. At the end they showed us a really cool experiment that involved a balloon filled with hydrogen EXPLODING!!! We all really enjoyed the experience and hope to put some of their creative ideas we learnt into practice. Thanks CSIRO!

District Cross Country Winners
Congratulations to our cross country team that did so well at the District Carnival this week. Eighteen students represented our school and came third overall. This is a fantastic result and we're very proud of our runners. We're particularly proud of the students pictured who were place-getters and will now complete in the Regional trials on May 30. More information in the newsletter next week. Well done team!
